Celebrating new life!
Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations. Jeremiah 1:5
This celebration was pretty dear to me. Our Brooke has been with us for a good 10 years. First as a helper with the kids, then full on babysitter, and since her becoming a wife last year, she became my assistant, and now we are celebrating her baby boy coming this fall. I can’t believe our Brookie is grown, and becoming a mama. She’s meant so much to me and my family. I have loved her like a daughter, sister, and friend. I just can’t wait to hold that little red head baby boy!!
Let The Party Planning Begin!
With the help of my friends, “the party planning committee”, we were able to take the theme “The Farm Life” to a whole new level. What a joy and blessing is was to open my home up to all of our church family, and friends to celebrate the new life coming into this world. My besties Ashleigh McGehee and Wendy Johnson and I love to host and decorate!

And the gifts keep coming for this beautiful redhead.
I love this! Mrs. Kay totally surprised us with a reading and prayer. What a blessing she’s been to all around her and I know she will love being this new little ones mamaw Kay. I’ve learned so much about unconditional love by watching her live her life. She is all heart and I know that’s why everyone falls in love with this Godly woman.
Surrounding this mama and unborn baby boy with love and prayers. Lifting up prayers for a healthy delivery and speedy recovery for mama. And giving praise to God for being the creator of ALL things.
For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mothers womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful. I know that full well. Psalm 139:13-14
I love how the little ones are helping Brooke. I’m sure it was tuff not to open them all!!

I’d be lost without my roots. Whether good or bad, roots run deep! From seeing my mamaw lola’s magical sewing room and the seed that was planted in me for creating, or going out to see my mamaw nelli’s garden, and the new found love i have for holding tradtions like canning and jelly making. I didn’t know as a little girl that these generational roots would be a part of who i am today. I want to share with you a side of little ole me that doesn’t get shown on duck dynasty. From livivng off the land, to supporting local farmers, i hope to encourage you to take steps, no matter how small, for a healthier lifestyle.
