My Go-To Favorite Natural Cleaning Supplies and a Free Gift for You

jessica | September 22, 2017

I love family time!! Like most southern families, we spend most of our time in the kitchen. The kids hang out around the island while Jep and I cook….well, mainly Jep cooks! Wink Wink!! And as you know from all my social media outlets, I LOVE being a mom! Seriously, I can’t get enough of my favorite little humans!!! I love every stage and I adore the love & laughter that fills this home…& the toddler giggles from Gus.  Each one is amazing in some way… Lily is our sweetheart, Merritt is our musician, Priscilla is our little cleaner who washes the dishes for me(even when I don’t ask!!!!), River is a mama’s boy like his daddy (#winning), and Gus…well Gus is just the most lovey, scrumptious, hilarious tot ever.

I love using natural products that are family friendly and a few months ago, I found Grove.co ,a
great on-line resource for a large variety of natural home & personal products like Mrs. Meyers, which is a favorite of mine. When we are elbow deep in Mrs. Meyers  Basil Dish soap not only are our dishes getting squeaky clean but I feel good knowing we are making better choices for the family and that everything smells really great!
I have been using their service for a few months now to get all my favorite natural products
delivered to my home and I love that they have the things I can’t find easily in my local stores.
I typically get a box from them once a month but the great thing with Grove is that you can
control it and change the dates and the products in each box to suit you – its 100% flexible!
That’s why I asked my friends at Grove.co if we could offer you something special so you could
try out their service and products for yourself.
Check them out at: https://www.grove.co/Jessicarobertson

Grove.co is offering to any Robertson Roots readers
who are NEW to Grove a gift worth $30 FREE with your first purchase of $20 or more:
Mrs. Meyers Hand Soap (Any scent)
Mrs. Meyers Dish Soap (Any Scent)
Mrs. Meyers Hand Lotion (Any Scent)
Grove Enamel Caddy
Grove Walnut Scrubber sponges

VIP trial & Free Shipping
All you need to do to is click on the link here: www.grove.co/Jessicarobertson

And one more fun thing – Grove.co has also added a special extra surprise for you during
checkout in addition to the $30 gift listed above. I think you will love it!!
If you are already a Grove customer they have a little something special for you too. All you
need to do is click on the link here.
Through Grove we have discovered so many new natural brands – Some of our favorites are not
only the Meyers products but we also love Smarty pants vitamins for the kids, Dr Bronners
Shave cream (for me not Jep!) and Grove’s own Bubble up!

I hope you enjoy using Grove as much as I do – The kids love it when our box arrives and they
get to unbox all the latest goodies we have purchased. Who knew getting cleaning supplies
delivered could be so much fun?!!

Brookie’s Baby Shower

jessica | September 16, 2015

Celebrating new life!

Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations. Jeremiah 1:5

This celebration was pretty dear to me. Our Brooke has been with us for a good 10 years. First as a helper with the kids, then full on babysitter, and since her becoming a wife last year, she became my assistant, and now we are celebrating her baby boy coming this fall. I can’t believe our Brookie is grown, and becoming a mama. She’s meant so much to me and my family. I have loved her like a daughter, sister, and friend. I just can’t wait to hold that little red head baby boy!!

Let The Party Planning Begin!

With the help of my friends, “the party planning committee”, we were able to take the theme “The Farm Life” to a whole new level.  What a joy and blessing is was to open my home up to all of our church family, and friends to celebrate the new life coming into this world.  My besties Ashleigh McGehee and Wendy Johnson and I love to host and decorate!

I love vintage scales! I have them throughout my house, I’m sure you will see more as my collection grows. And I love this center piece with the tin, cotton, and cornstalks.

⁃ burlap table and countertop (from any fabric store)
⁃ red gingham table cloth and napkins (potterybarn)
⁃ cotton (Paul micheal company)
⁃ cow and pig plate (Paul Michael)

-vintage scale (antique store)

I seriously love to serve by hosting! Getting together to with friends and family, visiting, eating, and just having a good time all while celebrating!  And don’t forget to have plenty of hosts, makes for more of a variety of food and doesn’t put all the pressure and budget on you.

Showering this little man and mama with gifts!

And the gifts keep coming for this beautiful redhead.

I love this! Mrs. Kay totally surprised us with a reading and prayer. What a blessing she’s been to all around her and I know she will love being this new little ones mamaw Kay. I’ve learned so much about unconditional love by watching her live her life. She is all heart and I know that’s why everyone falls in love with this Godly woman.

Surrounding this mama and unborn baby boy with love and prayers. Lifting up prayers for a healthy delivery and speedy recovery for mama. And giving praise to God for being the creator of ALL things.

For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mothers womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful. I know that full well. Psalm 139:13-14

I love how the little ones are helping Brooke.  I’m sure it was tuff not to open them all!!

I’d be lost without my roots. Whether good or bad, roots run deep! From seeing my mamaw lola’s magical sewing room and the seed that was planted in me for creating, or going out to see my mamaw nelli’s garden, and the new found love i have for holding tradtions like canning and jelly making. I didn’t know as a little girl that these generational roots would be a part of who i am today.   I want to share with you a side of little ole me that doesn’t get shown on duck dynasty. From livivng off the land, to supporting local farmers, i hope to encourage you to take steps, no matter how small, for a healthier lifestyle.

About Me

About Me
Hello! My name is Jessica Robertson and I’m married to the youngest Robertson, Jules Jeptha, and yes I love the BEARD!

I am so glad you could join me on this endeavor of life without the cameras. I hope this lifestyle blog will encourage you, inspire you, and down right draw us closer together.

Life is short, so let’s encourage and lift each other up. I’m passionate about life and believe The Cure is LOVE! Doesn’t matter where you come from or how old you are, we are all in this together and we can learn from one another.

I know that without my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, I’d be lost. And I live with the peace that Christ died for my sins and rose from the grave and now isn in Heaven preparing a place for me, that’s what my hope is in, that one day I will live for ETERNITY in HEAVEN with my GOD.

I’m a blessed mama of four. I’m a lover of all things vintage. I’m an oldie at heart. I may have been born in the wrong century. I cry when anyone else cries, which my kids make fun of. I want to be a farmer when I grow up. And last but not least, I LOVE my mate!

Hope you can join me on this journey of life, cooking, gardening/living off the land, fashion/beauty, sewing/creating, Holiday’s, and more.

Lets learn together!
